Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026

This policy explains how personal data is collected, used and protected when you visit the Likha Collective website or contact us through it. We take privacy seriously and only collect what we genuinely need to reply to you and run the site.

Who we are

Likha Collective is the group brand. The website and the personal data collected through it are the responsibility of Likha Collective Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. 16795386), acting as data controller. Consultancy services are delivered by our operating company Likha Partners Ltd (company no. 17109118), which processes enquiry data in order to respond to you.

You can reach us at hello@likhacollective.com for any privacy-related question.

What we collect

When you use our contact form we collect the information you choose to give us:

  • Name — so we know who we are replying to.
  • Company — optional context about the business you represent.
  • Work email — so we can reply.
  • Phone number — optional; only used if you want us to call.
  • Message — what you're trying to change and how we can help.

We also process a small amount of technical data required to serve the site — including browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and standard server logs. We do not create marketing profiles from this data.

Lawful basis

Under the UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry that you initiated, and taking reasonable steps to secure and operate our own website. We have balanced this against your rights and expectations and consider it appropriate.
  • Consent — where you affirmatively opt in (for example, if you later subscribe to updates).
  • Steps prior to entering a contract — where your enquiry is part of discussing a potential engagement.

How your data is stored and who processes it

Enquiry data is stored in a secure database provided by Supabase, our backend platform. It's accessible only to authorised members of the Likha team.

A small number of trusted processors help us run the site (hosting, database, email infrastructure). Each is bound by data protection obligations equivalent to those in the UK GDPR. We never sell your data.

Confirm: analytics provider, if any

If we add an analytics provider (for example, a privacy-friendly service such as Plausible or Fathom), it will be listed here along with what it collects, its lawful basis, and whether any data is transferred outside the UK.

How long we keep it

Confirm: retention period

Our current working assumption is to retain enquiry data for up to 24 months from your last contact with us. Where an enquiry leads to a contract, standard business record-keeping periods apply. This will be confirmed and updated here.

Sharing outside the UK

Some of our processors may store or process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

Your rights

You have the following rights under the UK GDPR:

  • Access — a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — deletion, where the legal basis for holding your data no longer applies.
  • Restriction — asking us to pause how we use your data while a query is resolved.
  • Objection — objecting to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability — receiving your data in a portable format where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@likhacollective.com. We aim to respond within one month.

Cookies

We run essential cookies only unless you give us consent for anything else. See the Cookie Policy for the full breakdown.

Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal data properly, please contact us first — we'd like the chance to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):
